• Wu-Xing is 5 major planets of gravity.    It is a spiral, not a closed circle
• Zai's scientific bagua/trigram/hexagram naming/sequencing system units Yin-Yang, Wu-Xing etc., improves consistency/sensibility of I-Ching

• Based on the spiral of Wu-Xing energy above, in the context of Earth ecosystem, producers such as green plants are Yang (closer to Sun, more powerful, superior), consumers/parasitic-beings such as carnivores are Yin.
• Dr Zai also made many other local/small reforms such as identifications of new  Wu-Xing sets of specific issues
